Handling Bugs

Citronella Candles

These candles aren’t just for decorating…they help keep mosquitos away while adding pops of color to your ceremony. Citronella candles holders now come in all different styles. Or if you prefer…you can DIY!

Check out this Pinterest idea we worked on to add some flair. All you have to do is grab a drill and make some holes into tin holders. Then the creative process is up to you… create flowers or try out your own unique design.

Keeping Food Safe

You can keep your food safe with some fun! Try using enclosed glasses equipped with a straw. Mason jars are popular and easy to come by. Now you don’t have to worry about spills or finding “a black fly in your Chardonnay” as Alannis Morrisette puts it.

While drinks are important to keep safe…don’t forget about the food! Get crafty with your containers. They can serve as decorations as well. We went with a pineapple theme…which is great for summer and it’s a symbol of hospitality.

If you really want to get crafty…create a game using the tropical fruit. Get several pineapples and turn it into a bowling game. Strike!

Privacy Concerns

Need some privacy? Why not throw bamboo into the mix. This a great way to ensure your guests have a great time without the worry of wedding crashers.
